LOST Spoilers - The ODI

Hey All,
So LOST producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are back with this week's official ABC LOST podcast and they confirm a few things from the first 8 episodes of this season including reviewing Episode 4x08 Meet Kevin Johnson and then provide us with some spoilers and what to expect over the rest of Season 4.

1) The shocking twist for the finale will not be the final scene, but close to the end of the episode.

2) They confirm that the Oceanic Six are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Aaron. Also, said that they are NOT trying to trick us, but wanted the secret of Jin's Tombstone and the Hybrid FB/FF.

3) They were happy to have M.C. Gainey back on the show and wanted to clarify that Tom (Mr. Friendly) is indeed gay after alluding to it in the Season 3 premiere when Tom says he is "not Kate's type".

4) Question about of Desmond/Minkowski having "side effects" and why Desmond did not feel effects when he left the island on they mention that it depends that if you are inside a specific "realm" of the island to be affected by it. Also they hint that this may indeed be the "Sickness" that Rousseau refers to.

5) What is up with Miles and the grenade? Is he dead? - Already answered from the episode, that he is ok.

6) Will we see more of the Swan Hatch and more what happened to Locke, Eko and Des after the implosion? The Swan Hatch implosion will probably not be revisited. We know what happened to Des, but not Locke and Eko However, we have not seen the last of the "purple sky" and will get one this season.

7) They explain the appearance of certain paranormal events and what they are:
Ben's mother = Apparition
Sawyer's Boar = Animal
Spider = Monster
Hurley bird = No Comment
Dave = Apparation/imagination
Yemi = Monster
Mikail' Cat Nadia=animal
Walt = Some have been apparition, some have been monster
Boone in Locke's Dream = Dream
Jack = Apparition and then they laugh.
Kate's Horse and Christian Shepard = Undead (Small Joke)

8) "Lapidus" name in Expose script that Hurley read is just a name that one of the LOST writers is fond of. No connection to Frank.

8) Is Aaron in danger since he is being "Raised by Another"? The psychic told Claire that she must raise the baby herself. They leave it up to the viewers if you believe if the psychic is real or not. However, Aaron is indeed in danger based on Kate's character.

9) What is the significance of the name Kevin Johnson? No significance and the Others chose the most innocuous and bland name they could so as not to raise suspicion and raise attention to Michael's alias.

10) Question about Charlotte and digging up the polar bear and about whether we will get a FB with the Black Rock or the four-toed statue?? No flashback, but we will learn much more about four-toed statue and Black Rock.

11) Secret code name for the finale twist "The Frozen Donkey Wheel" and they say that they are not joking and laughing at the same time.

Harrold Perrineau had a chat with E!Online's Kristin where he discussed his return to LOST and what to expect for his character this season.

Nothing major was revealed but there are some minor spoilers with Perrineau confirming we will see quite a bit of his character Michael and that he will get some "action" this season.

Hey All,
If you watched the ABC promo after last week's episode of LOST, it dropped a potential spoiler that "Someone will die". Now, I feel if it is in an ABC promo I can not imagine them spoiling the fans of a MAJOR death, so I believe it will be a minor character and perhaps someone from the freighter.

However, the folks at UGO have narrowed it down to the following 3 characters:

Claire, Miles or Karl.

I feel at some point Claire will die, but I truly can not see how this will fit the storyline right now. Well below are the details and a little poll for you to voice your opinion.

Okay, ABC is playing the death card again. What does that say about us Lost fans, really? Are we a bunch of blood thirsty savages? Regardless of the psychology behind throwing character chum in the ratings water, it’s hard to not be participate in the practice of trying to figure out which character is going to be taking a dirt nap. We’ll go one better for you, if you don’t mind minor spoilers, and narrow the playing field a bit.

One of these three characters is dying tomorrow. See if you can figure out who:

CLAIRE
It has been foretold. Supposedly a person working for craft services catered a party for star Emilie Ravine shortly after her death scene was filmed. In the scene, Claire and Aaron are getting on the helicopter and Daniel pushes Claire out to her death.

MILES
No, it wasn’t the hand grenade, it was a play. Actor Ken Leung is apparently booked to perform in a play. Some people say that this was a classic case of double booking done to compensate for an anticipated lack of work during the strike. If that is true, Leung could have canceled this gig to honor his Lost contract—but THAT has not been confirmed.

KARL
Stop me if this sounds familiar: Actor Blake Bashoff has actually been performing in a play titled “Spring Awakening.” Now, since LOST hasn’t been in production until recently, it could have, again, been a strike induced overlapping gig, and let’s face it… Karl isn’t a “major” character (don’t tell Alex I said that).

The latest issue of TV Guide has some spoilers for this week's episode of LOST and a little tidbit confirming that Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) will return for at LEAST one episode this season.

The other spoilers about the return of Michael and focus on his episode (4x08) Meet Kevin Johnson this week.

Nothing too much we already knew but here is the breakdown and scans:

1) Sayid demands answers from Kevin
2) Michael will be in Manhattan post-island FB
3) A Mama Cass song will be in the episode

Nothing really new for all of you spoiler lovers, but for those of you that have not stayed up to date, well there are some interesting points. Including the return of Michael, Walt, Libby and a funeral all over the next two episodes.

Marcella in Madrid: I cannot believe how evil some of the readers are! They call you stupid because you say Sun’s pregnancy may be shorter because of Island time. What is this problem of theirs?

Their problem is that they are right: I am moronic. Yunjin Kim was just in the E! building for a guest spot on our satellite radio show Yo on E! (available on XM and Sirius), and she said the following of Sun’s bumpity future: “Well, I figure I’ll stay pregnant for about another two seasons. Since we’re only on 100 days on the Island, and we’ve been on the show for four years...so, you have to remember...I feel pretty safe. I’m still not wearing any type of pregnancy pad on the show, so I think I’ve got about two more seasons in me.” I had thought that Sun’s body might be on real time, but the Island is on slower time, so she would pop that puppy out sooner. But I will quietly plop on my dunce hat and sit in the corner.

Nate in Long Island: Anything worth looking forward to on Lost?

Cynthia Watros (Libby) is back next week! Not in the present, of course. But still, I’ll take it. And she reappears the same week that Michael (Harold Perrineau) really reappears, so that’s all kinds of awesome. Also, did you hear there’s a funeral this week? Oops. If not, I may have said too much...

Franci in Paramus, New Jersey: Any news about Lost?

You know what I said in the Watch with Kristin Show about taller ghost Walt being explained in episode eight? Sometimes I talk crazy, and time travel will not explain Walt's wanderings (at least not anytime soon). Walt does appear in episode eight, but 100-percent-trustworthy sources tell me that during his blink-of-an-eye appearance, "He is exactly the size that a nine-year-old should be." And Walt's Island visitations are alluded to in episode 10, but that's it for explaining the mysteries of Walt for the rest of this much-shorter-than-it-should-be season four.

Desmond! Next week it's all about our favorite nude beach runner and what happens to him and Sayid in the freighter-copter. (Note: The turbulance toggles his "time travel"-y switch and flashes to a run-in with Daniel Faraday as he is a professor at Oxford...This is the clip we see in the preview in which short-haired Des says to long-haired D.F. "Am I gonna die?" And it should be mentioned that Desmond also could survive off the island and not be counted as one of the Oceanic Six since he wasn't on the manifest.)

And the week after that, it's...

Smooch time! Chances are, you already know the players (tsk, tsk, tsk). But I think many of you will like the development of that romance. are also getting very close to the return of Harold Perrineau (Michael), which makes me want to kiss someone my own self. His episode (number 8) will fill in where he's been since we last saw him, and I think you'll be pleased.

This episode as we all suspected has been confirmed as a Michael Centric episode titled Meet Kevin Johnson. The biggest shocker/spoiler right now from this episode is that Tom (aka Mr. Friendly) meets Michael off-island. Some are speculating that Michael changes his name to Kevin Johnson, thus the title.

Also, here is the little tidbit from our good friend DarkUFO confirming this information via one of his readers that was and extra on this episode.

I worked as an extra on Lost for the 8th episode of the upcoming 4th season,and I can confirm that it is a Michael-centric episode that takes place between the time he left up until present time on the island. I was one of the extras in NY where Michael ends up and meets Tom. On the set there was a lot of talk about how Tom could be there and there were the theories of the Orchid going around.
