Latest from Kristin - Who's Kate Kissing?

Thanks to NoOne for the heads up.

Only five episodes left of Lost...sob! I hit the show's set in Oahu, Hawaii, for tonight's episode, which is not to be missed—and had some nice one-on-one time with some of our favorite Losties: Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway and Jorge Garcia.

We also have exclusive, behind-the-scenes raw video that sure seems to imply that things are so not all right with Jack and Sawyer tonight, and Kate may be stuck in the middle. (Gulp.)

So hmmm...why was Evangeline talking about lip gloss? What's this about Hurley going evil? And what "guy talk" do Jack and Sawyer have in store?

Latest Spoilers for LOST Finale Via Jorge Garcia

Here are the latest tidbits about the LOST Season 6 Finale via Jorge Garcia.

Jorge Gacia Talks About Hurley's Plan

Thanks to our good friend Natalie Abrams from TV Guide about this article:

"He's trying to protect everybody like he's always been," insists Garcia, who adds that Ilana's death was the catalyst for Hurley taking a leadership role. Plus, Garcia says: "Having that connection with Jacob [Mark Pellegrino] has definitely given him a bit of chutzpah to take more charge and get stuff done.

"He might be pushing the limits a little bit, but when you have a show with Ben Linus [Michael Emerson] on it, it doesn't really look so bad, what he does, just yet. His intentions are right. It's the last season, so we have to get to the end, so we might as well go and face each other!"

The next episode will pick up with the pow-wow between good and evil starting, Garcia says. He adds that we needn't worry about the safety of Hurley, Jack (Matthew Fox), Frank (Jeff Fahey) and Sun (Yunjin Kim). "[The Man in Black] did give them their word that he wasn't going to do anything. It's been established that he has to keep his word," says Garcia. "So if he gives his word, then he's bound to it."

The question remains: Will the candidates try to blow up the plane to stop Old Smokey from leaving the island? "They built a huge airplane fuselage, complete with wings out of wood and foam," says Garcia. "It would be a really beautiful thing to blow up."

Garcia, who plans to move back to Los Angeles when the show concludes, says the cast will still be shooting until April 24, but they have just wrapped a crucial location: Hawaii's Kualoa Ranch.

"When we were shooting, we had a moment where we held each other's hands and hugged because Kualoa Ranch was Day One of the pilot, so it's always going to be special that way."

Who was missing from that group moment?

"I can't really tell you who was there," Garcia says, "It's safe to say that Ilana is not going to be the only casualty of the great Lost battle."

Jorge Garcia Teases Tonight's Episode

"Lost" fans are still buzzing about last week's "Happily Ever After" episode, which finally began making sense of the two timelines and how love plays into it all.

Well, Tuesday night's Hurley-centric episode, "Everybody Loves Hugo," continues with that theme. Although actor Jorge Garcia was tight-lipped about it in a recent interview, he did say this:

"There's definitely a turning point about to happen," Garcia said. "Right around the middle of the season, all those deja vu moments in the sideways timeline, you'll see stuff come to a head and the whole season turns the corner. And stuff really gets interesting."

"Everybody Loves Hugo" will show more of Hurley's life in the sideways timeline. Viewers saw a glimpse of that in a previous episode when he appeared to Locke as the successful entrepreneur who owns the company Locke worked for. But there's more to Mr. Reyes than that.

"This new Hurley episode shows that everything seems great for Hurley, but maybe not everything's great," Garcia said.

The episode marks the return of Harold Perrineau, Cynthia Watros and Lillian Hurst as Hurley's mother. There's also a special guest star that Garcia announced on his blog.

The cast and crew are currently working on the top-secret series finale, which is scheduled to wrap on April 24. Of course, Garcia kept mum about that as well but did say he was "very satisfied" with the way "Lost" ends.

And that was with a chunk of the finale script still missing.

WHAT LIES AHEAD

The Two Worlds Must Be Coming Together…Right? After all, Desmond is getting his hands on the flight manifest with the mission of showing the other Flight 815 passengers what he saw: The life they are supposed to be living. See you in another life, brotha, indeed!

Hurley! Next week's episode is Hurley-centric, and there will be some sadness. As you can tell from tonight's promo, Hurley will be leading Jack to see what they are supposed to do. Anyone else loving that six seasons in, the two guys you'd never have thought would be most important are running the show: Desmond the Hatch dude and Hurley the comedic sidekick?

Episode 6x12 Set Pic - Is Most Viewed Season 6 Set Pic

So with the series finale wrapping up I really wondered about all of the spoilers we have received I was wondering what the biggest reveal was so far. So I started checking out some stats but could not really figure it out based on the stats, but realized that the set pic with what appears to be ALT-Hurley with new lottery numbers was the most viewed set pic we have ever posted so far.

This pic was posted several weeks ago, but now that we have some idea of the ALT world, has your opinion changed?

For those that missed the pic. Here it is again:

NOTE: This pic was originally sent over by Ryan in Hawaii

Latest from Ausiello - 28th Feb 2010

Latest Spoilers from E! Online About Hurley and the Island

Latest Spoilers from E! Online About Hurley and the Island

WHAT LIES AHEAD:

Who's Good and Who's Evil? Jorge Garcia tells me this: "I don't think Hurley is going to be turn-able. Like I don't think he can…turn dark. I mean, it'd be interesting if there was a flash of that." So perhaps some of the candidates cannot be touched/claimed by MIB? Clearly Hurley has to wind up a good guy.

What Is the Island? That very huge question will be answered in less time than you think--somewhere around halfway through the season, according to sources. Awesome, right? And you know who's going to help deliver the message? The fantastic, ever-youthful guyliner model Mr. Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell) and his longtime friend Jacob (Mark Pellegrino). It's gonna be good.

So…What Is the Island? It's described as a four-letter word. There's your first clue! Shall we play Hangman? There are no A's or E's in the word…Wanna buy another vowel? Okay, but you only get one.

Another thing I can tell you: The island has to exist, according to my sources, and more importantly, someone has to protect it. It's important to the world outside.

Latest Details on Michael and Libby's Return via TV Guide

Thanks to our friend Natalie Abrams from TV Guide for the following article about the return of Michael and Libby.

Sure, Harold Perrineau's character, Michael Dawson, died, but that doesn't mean he can't return to Lost. TVGuide.com sat down with with Perrineau in Hawaii after he shot his return to Lost to find out how Michael will interact with both Hurley (Jorge Garcia) and Libby (Cynthia Watros), whom Michael killed, in a way that will surprise even die-hard fans.

Among Michael's many acts of deception, most serious was that he murdered Ana Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez) and Libby in cold blood in Season 2. Since then, the estranged father has been trying to rectify mistakes and, according to Perrineau, he just may get it — despite being dead. In fact, he says, Michael is going to apologize to Libby.

"I did get to apologize," Perrineau says. "Every time I did it, it was really emotional. There was something really nice about it. It's not just apologizing to her, but to Hurley as well."

Co-star Garcia shared the same sentiments. "It played really well. When we did the rehearsal for it, I found myself getting way more emotional than I thought I was going to."

Michael's apology springs from his search for redemption this season. "That's what he's been trying to do since he came back originally," Perrineau says. "That's what Michael has been doing since the Ana Lucia-Libby episode, trying to find some redemption."

Ana Lucia, who Michael also murdered, won't be getting an apology though. "She was in his way," says Perrineau. "She was going to kill Ben. You see how good Michael Emerson is on the show, right? If she'd have killed him, we would've missed all that. You should be thanking me!"

So will Libby and Michael be incarnations of the Smoke Monster like the now-dead Locke? "I'm totally the ghost of Michael," Perrineau says, though he questions if every dead character we've seen has been a form of either Jacob or the Man in Black. Added Garcia: "I'm pretty confident that Libby is not the Man in Black when you see her."

As for the alternate timeline where our Lostaways are living and breathing, Perrineau said we won't be seeing an off-island Michael. "Unless they are using some old footage, as far as I know, Michael is only dead this season." Garcia added an ominous "we'll see" for the status of Libby being alive off the island.

Latest Filming Report

Update: 12:00 Thanks to Chris for emailing me this extra info.

in the day we saw them filming at the ajira plane set, it was locke coming out of the planes front door. down what appeared to be a bamboo built stair way....he would come out, and was having some sort of dialogue withs ome other characters.

later as they started filming down by the wing more and what not, we could FINALLY see, and it would appear that he was talking to some of the losties. including Sawyer, Sayid, Claire, & Jack. It's possible that kate and or hurley was there, but we couldn't see them at all....

but that was basically the day shoot.

then in the night they started shooting some beach scenes. NOT at the survivor camp, but they were at police beach, a little ways down between the ajira plane and the survivor camp, it was just some basic beach scenes.

we watched the stunt doubles for jack and sawyer go in the water, and essentially from what i saw, jack was pulling a very wet and passed out sawyer, and was trying to wake him up or w/e. and it hurley was coming over with kate, and she seemed to have maybe been injured, since hurley was helping her over with her arm on his shoulder.

this scene included jack kate sawyer and hurley.
we eventually left. because it was sprinkling, and they kept moving us around, although they were very nice to us, it became a pain in the ass. especially since they would tell us they were just moving us out of the shot, when i m not stupid and could use my eyes, not to mention the fact that i ve worked on many films and video shoots to know which way the camera was facing and what they are doing....and so on. they were just being a pain. even though we know that we can do whatever we want ON the beach, we decided to give them a break and just leave earlier....

BTW, this IS episode 14. i CAN confirm that.
and for the record, not all of the filming is ALWAYS for that certain episode.
my g/f and i were at the temple set recently and found a shot list for episode 6. and it appeared to be alot of pick ups. and was dated for feb 01. so they have apparently been shooting a number of pick ups as well...also one of the crew said its likel they ll be extending their shooting time, because they will need the time...

we've been checkin em out all week, and seen them almost everyday this week.
and will probably keep hunting next week.

Thanks to Judy for the following little snippets.

Me and steph are standin on the beach, watching all the all star #LOST actors: Jack, Kate, hurley, Sawyer. Excellent! about 5 hours ago from Tweetie

@TiffBenedict they're AT police beach, not quite at the camp. Just on the beach a ways down.

@TiffBenedict earlier today they were shooting at the Ajira plane, then at night it was slightly past the the camp.

Latest Set and Filming Report - 11th Feb

I know a bit more about what is going on in the scene Ryan recently sent in.
What I know for sure is Kate and Sawyer swim in to shore off the sailboat to rescue Jin from the scientist (Widmore's men). Jin has been recently submitted to the effects of Room 23, so he is somewhat on the side of the scientists when Kate and Sawyer show up to rescue him. I saw some of this fiming myself at Kawela Bay the other day.

Hurley, Claire, and Frank were waiting off set for thier scenes when I was there. Claire did give me a nice "hello" tho. :)

New LOST Spoilers from Ausiello at EW

Question: You’re blaming the late arrival of Ask Ausiello on the blizzard? Lame. But I’ll forgive you if you give me a really juicy Lost spoiler. —Jesse
Ausiello: Would you believe me if I told you my laptop got stuck in a 5-foot snowdrift? No? Okay, I’ll think of something else. In the meantime, here’s your juicy Lost spoiler: Someone has a kid in their flash-sideways. Guesses? Head to the comments!

Question: What can you tell me about Libby’s Lost return? —Joe
Ausiello: I can’t tell you very much. Cynthia Watros, however, describes her onscreen reunion with Jorge Garcia as “so sweet and honest. And I think, hopefully, when people see our scenes that they’ll get that feeling, too. [Libby and Hurley] are so incredibly real with each other. I was really grateful that I got to play those scenes and Libby got to sort of express herself in ways that she hasn’t been able to.”

Upcoming Episode Spoilers

Hurley speaks to someone very close to Richard's past and conveys this person's message to Richard. Definite tearjerker on par with when we first meet Bernand and he finds out Rose is okay in season 2.

- Man in Black has a true nemesis - and it's not Jacob.

-"Happily Ever After" marks Desmond's full return - his centric episode as well. His "flash-sideways" feature Charlie, Daniel, Penny, Mommy, Jack, Widmore, and Claire. Widmore and Desmond share some of that famous scotch. Des has to make a very, very big sacrifice.

- "Everybody Loves Hugo" marks the return of Libby and Michael. Michael is a ghost on island and Libby and Hurley date in his "flash-sideways." Locke gets run over. Man can't catch a break, can he?
