LOST Spoilers - The ODI

When I saw filming being done, I saw it first hand. We could see what was going on, but couldn't see it THAT well...until one of the crew let us stand behind the monitors to watch that is. Afterwards, when we were standing with some other fans that were there too, one of the girls was like "was that a knife he put to her throat?"

It was a scene with Hurley and Libby, she was the crazy one and crashing a blind date Hurley's mom set him up on. The doctor from the mental institution came to pull her away...not pull a knife on her. lol I could see how it would look like that from afar, trying to squint your eyes to see a tiny monitor from twenty feet away though.

Went to Pearl Harbor this morning and saw the crew setting up at the USS Bowfin. We talked to one of the guys and he said they will be filming inside the submarine starting at 4pm local time today. In the pic you can see the cables running along the right side of the sidewalk down towards the sub.

Here are the pics from today. In the first pic you can see some of the directors chairs. Desmond is one of the guys sitting (talking to the two ladies). The empty chair was Claire's. In the second pic you get a view of the second level a the top of the escalator before getting to the elevator. In the third, you can see the "Constellation Tower" sign.

Here is a small filming update from a few days ago which matches some of our previous set reports.

- We see a very smartly dressed Desmond
- He is at LAX shortly after 815 Lands
- He runs into Hurley
- He runs into heavily pregnant Claire and the luggage carousel
- He helps her with her luggage
- As he leave the airport he his met by his limo driver who is holding a "HUME" sign up
- His limo driver is Minkowski

Episode 6x11 - Happily Ever After - Set Photos and Filming Update

6x11 set report from Swir

I’m in Hawaii and today I saw the crew of LOST. They were shooting scenes with Desmond and Widmore in an old building which used to be a Nike shop.

In the building, they made it look like Widmore’s office, and they put a large green screen behind the windows so that they could add a nice view of London or something like that. When I came back in the evening, the green screen was gone and I could see the interior of the office. I couldn’t take a picture though, because it was too dark. I’ll take care of that in the morning and send you the photos.

I saw two paintings on the wall. They depicted a weighing scale in the shape of a cross. There were white and black discs on each side of the scale.

When I came to the set, I didn’t see Widmore or Desmond because they were on their lunch break. I spoke to one of the security guards and he told me the actors were coming back in 10 minutes – and they did! They waved at us, asked “how are you” and entered the building

Earlier today our friend DarkUFO reported that a scene involving Desmond and Charlie in some sort of "ALT Timeline" was being filmed today.

We also just got the heads up from our other good friend Ryan from Hawaii Blog about some more details and a set photo that was posted by a fan via his Twitter.

The AG’s building has been transformed into the “Airport Courthouse.” And in front of the building, who should be meeting but Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan). Photo posted by rossb on Twitter.

My wife and I just returned from Hawaii and, while hiking in the Manoa rainforest we ate at the restaurant (the scene with Miles and the body in the kitchen last season was his kitchen as well as parts of the Orchid Station set) where some of the LOST sets are constructed - the owner was an awesome guy and when we noticed the polar bear cages outside he said they had been put back up 2 weeks ago and the cast was coming back to shoot this Thursday

Apparently Sawyer returns to the other island to visit the bear cages at some point coming up

The spoiler section is about one hour, 5 minutes in.

Here is a summary of the spoilers:

- There was a lot of filming @ Police beach, were some guy (Blake) didn't see much because they did a good job at keeping people away but he definitely spotted;
Locke, Sun, Jack, Hurley, Ben, Miles, Frank, Illana, Alpart and Widmore. Coming and going at different times and it was hard to say if they were all together.
And on his last day Blake saw them putting up these portable Sonic Fences on the beach. And that there are pictures of Locke in front/behind those fences.
- Location shoots by Darren @ the golf club in the Kitchen.
And he saw a giant butcher knife.
And on set he saw Sun, Jin (Who was looking very beat-up and had a bloody wound over his left eyebrow), Sayid, Keamy (Who got a gun shot wood in his side), Omar (Gun shot wound in his stomach) and Mihail (who looked young and had both of his eyes and learned Korean).
Scene goes:
Mihail, with both eyes, holds Sun hostage and spooks her in a dark kitchen.
He comes around the corner and Keamy is lying on the ground, already shot.
Mihail goes to check on him and as he does that Jin comes in and Jin is fighting with Mihail ==> Yin pulls Mihail around, gets his gun and shoots, and the third shot hits Mihail in the eye! (Some think its the knife but Darren is pretty sure it was the gun.) and Mihail falls on the ground.
- Larry Joshua is a new (guest) actor on LOST (they got that from a call sheet) and he'll be in the Sun & Jin episode.
- Sun & Jin were shooting at the Sydney Airport and at a Korean Bank (but all in Hawaii filmed of course) and that's probably were Larry comes in.
- There will be some street driving coming up. And a car will drive off of a pier!
- The scientists are chasing Sawyer to the beach
- A new camp we hadn't seen before build with airplane stuff and Darren said that will be Claire's camp, and we'll see where she has been and here time is described as "wild"

They have been doing a good job these days keeping tight lipped about what is going on with the filming, so I only have a tiny little bit for ya.
Yesterday and the day before(Thurs and Friday) they have been shooting a night scene up at Kawela Bay, beautiful beach, very secluded.
I know that most of the main group of the main cast was there (but cant tell you 100% except for Sayid I know was there).
Also a group known as "the Temple Others" were there including "Zoey" and probable then Cindy and Zack as well.
And here is a little bit of a strange part, theres a large group (maybe 7-10) "scientists". Not sure what the scientists are doing there on the beach at night with this group, but I guess we should use are imaginations on this one.

I was walking around Diamond Head Studio's today and I noticed a new "ship" type set being built outside the stadge, in plain view! It appears to be an under deck section, I saw before they covered it up that there was a stairways that leads to the top section.

It seems to be a "rocker" type set that wil be able to be rocked with that crane and probably water will be shot on to it to give the"at sea feel". If you look close at the picture of it you can see it already has set dressings, a lantern and some boxes.
I did see some extras dresses in baggy, brown prisoner clothes. Didn't have time to photograph them but they were scruffy looking, mostly likely this is all for the Blackrock scenes.

I also took some shots of some iconic props just sitting around the lot, including the donky wheel, Hot air ballon carrage, Lockes dads pillar, few views of the Bomb and the tip of it, the sub and the set they use for inside the well shaft.Also the backside of the outdoor temple set.

LOST Season 6 Filming Update - New and Familiar Faces Spotted on Set

Our good friend Ryan has posted a new blog with two new filming updates about the filming that took place this week.

I am assuming the crew is currently working on episode 6x06 so expect these moments to take place around that time.

Now usually it is what is happening in the scenes that is important but this time it is WHO was spotted!

Here are some details:

1) Early in the week a scene in a Church Kitchen Sayid (Naveen Andrews) was spotted. Perhaps an Alt-Time Sayid during this off-island scene? Also spotted was a new character Lennon, but more importantly the return of Omar and Keamy!!

2) Today's filming including a scene at a high school with Ben (Michael Emerson), Tania Raymonde returning as Alex and Dr. Leslie Arzt (perhaps as a teacher)!!

Additionally a new character played by the recently cast William Atherton was on set!

"Hi all, how lucky I was to have spent time with the production team to see Hurley, Jack and director Jack Bender to three feet, and staying a little longer in the rain, I think I saw that Claire, as on one of the photos I took (I had not noticed) by the larger team blog, we see his name appears with that of Jack. Jack is left for 15 hours, and if you go on the blog to see the pictures, the picture where we see two tents covered, and well into 15 hours, he stood there a dozen technicians and a big vision-pana rail close to film a scene from the little camp, I'd be Claire who attended the scene, security told me to go away because the scene had too many new things. One of the scripts that came to see a technician special effects, talking about fire. If you looked at the photo of the camp left one can see a kind of book with a Dharma logo.

On October 21 around 13:30 am if returned, the team was filming in a protected area for two or three hours I saw no one. I took other pictures, the camp had changed his appearance. A new sign dharma down, and one can see inside the shelter. It has pictures of trail or Jack and Hurley were filmed. Jack Bender with the cameraman who kept a small Panamanian hands vision, micro understood, and Hurley and Jack stood in the place where we see a large rock in the middle of the trail. It was difficult to see because at 10 feet there was a small tent with two women who had their film scenes. And I was standing behind with two technicians and one that blocked the path to other foreigners (those who visited the park) while they were filming. I think they took the views in both directions. Hurley and Jack wandered down. The other photos are those filmed the trail, a place especially with large trees should be easy to recognize in episode six that technicians confirmed to me. For an hour or more technicians who attends the scene, were brought from the ends of branches with leaves to hide the iron bars that you see on the edge of the trail.

On October 19 I had been at base camp original (very safe and this one-hour walk on the beach, because everything is private between the road and the beach) the camp is very messed up, the church is always present and there is a hole near for a body in the small cemetery. I have pictures I would put maybe somewhere else. If nothing else I come back to mind. I will share with you. The location of Paradise Park is beautiful, a beautiful jungle stream (they often go through) and very large and strange trees. The next season will be terrible. Thank you"

Here is another report from my good and "colourful" friend on the island "Le Point d'Exclamation".

Yo dark!Got more scoop stuff for ya.Was able to catch some filming
dude. You already have some pap snaps of the shoot earlier with Hugo
and Fox but here is what I saw a little.Rememeber dont use my bloody
name as those crazed lost peeps will nab me and take me to smokey or
some shit.

ok you will need to watch super careful when this episode is on the
air and will need a tivo or some shit to get a screencap as hugo who
actually seems to have gained weight
has some very detailed notes and shit on his arm from when he met that
Jacob dude in the that "shiney" area as one of your other crazed
sources called it!

I saw Jacob, hurley and this samuari dude lol called dogen or whatever
all together in the temple. You have some photos whatever already of
this set.

Jin gets rescued from the "pirate" looking dudes by would you believe
Claire of all people. She has gone all chuck norris on them and looks
f**king terrible!

She is all serious and unkempt and not the little hottie that we all
remember her for! (dont tell me wife I said that!)
She kinda resembals that crazy french chick in season 1. Jin then
wakes up in one of her makeshift shelter thing-a-me-bobs.
She has also taken one of the pirate dudes hostage or something.
little hard to make it all out as some big fat dude who was watching
it with me would not STFU.

Both jin and the pirate hostage dude are bleeding. Claire definately
knows how to work a weapon now.

Cant wait to find out wtf happened to her to make her so different.
I could not see more because those damn security blobs spotted us and
started to approach us but being so heavy we quickly out paced them.

also got some stuff on sawyer and kate coming up soon will shoot you
an email very soon once i have checked some stuff out but i heard
something about a wedding/engagement ring. its not going to be pretty
in your bloggy comments when those crazies shipper types read it ha
good luck with that

ill try to get some more stuff later in the week as my mate might gets
some intel on the new filming locations and scripts

UPDATE: Thanks to Wayfinder for the following update for the filming that took place today:

I just read your update on the Paradise Park filming. I saw the signs on my way home and I arrived right when they finished filming, I saw Jack and Kate walking up to their trailers. Jack was in a Dharma jumpsuit all bloody. Then a van pulled up and Hurley, Sayid, and Jin jumped out. Another interesting thing, a whole bunch of Others were walking to the costume area as well, there was one guy that really stood out, he was Asian with long dark hair, and he looked like a pirate.

Season 6 - New Set Report from Ryan

Thanks to our good friend Ryan from Hawaii Blog for the following report and thanks to benito and Annie for the heads up.

The “LOST” production crew returned to familiar territory today, setting up base camp in Manoa Valley and shooting deep in the jungle near Paradise Park. This same area was used to film the Hydra Station exteriors, but now the forest was home to another familiar structure: The Temple.

Last week, carpenters had assembled the exterior walls of the temple at the Hawaii Film Studio (likely the other side of the temple set constructed nearby), and those same false rock walls were set up in Manoa today.

Spotted on location this morning by fortunately avid hiker Eric were Matthew Fox (Jack), Evangeline Lilly (Kate), John Hawkes (”the guy from Deadwood” as newcomer “Lennon“), and a woman described by the crew as “Cindy” (almost certainly Kimberly Joseph, our long lost stewardess). There were also a large number of extras in drably colored, somewhat ragged clothes. And seen later in the day were Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), according to Carmel on Twitter.

The survivors were still wearing the DHARMA jumpsuits they had when the Swan Station drill collapsed. The question is, then, “When are we?” But whether Jack, Kate and friends remain in 1977, or end up “flashing” to another time, we know they’ve also been filming scenes with these characters in 2004, arriving unscathed in Los Angeles.

Your guess is as good as mine as to how both of these scenarios can be true.

Hey All,
Here are some new set pics of Othersville being prepped for filming. Apparently filming should be taking place in the next couple of days, but there was some crew prepping.

In the images you will see some pictures of how the cabins should be set up and these images were found taped on the doors of the cabins informing the crew. Also note some random items being circled. Not sure why those specific items, maybe a hint to a specific scene?

One of my personal favorite images is the playground setup. Could we be seeing Annie or Young Ben again!? Well according to the report we could be seeing the 70s time line again.
