LOST Spoilers - The ODI

So with about a week to go in filming for LOST, fans are looking for filming all over the island and it looks like some details are starting to filter online.

I have decided not to post major spoilers for the series finale and today's reports confirm a few of the cast members on set and where they are filming.

"LOST" filming a scene near Police Beach on the North Shore of Oahu on Feb. 26, 2010. A large swath of shore was blocked off and all footprints raked away. The scene didn't involve any of the main cast, but was apparently a peek into the ancient history of the island. Episode 12 will be a Hurley Centric episode. I took this video and posted it awhile ago but this is it again for episode 12. This video shows Desmond on the island with Locke. Sawyer was there also but did not come over to say hi, so we know now that they'll be together later on in the season eventually. Here are a new set video and pic from a recent filming shoot that reveals the return of Harold Perrineau as Michael!

In the video he has a scene with Hurley on Island and you can see Ilana was also on set.

LOST Season 6 - Episode 6x03 - New BTS Set Video

Thanks to our good friend and LOST fan Carmel (FindLostWithCarmel on Youtube) who visited the LOST set a few months ago for this new video:

NOTE: This could include some details about premiere as well.

Here are some more details from Ryan about today's filming.

If you missed the set pics, there was a stunt scene being filmed with a car flipping into the marina. Stand-ins for both Charlie and Desmond were spotted on set and apparently the first run at the stunt did not work well as a cable pulling the car snapped, but the second take was successful and fans were able to catch the action via video.

It was only after the stunt, and after a lunch break, that the context of the scene became clear. Seated in the ill-fated car were Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan), perhaps not long after Charlie’s release from the airport holding cell and their subsequent conversation in a bar. Desmond is driving. The pair are arguing. Suddenly, Charlie grabs the wheel from the passenger seat and yanks, and his impulsive act is what sends their vehicle into the ocean.

Season 6 - New Set Video of Jin and Mikhail

UPDATE: The woman being chased has been confirmed as Kate.

Here is what took place: I watched the filming of the last shot of the evening at 6pm, by Mercury Bar’s alley way (around the corner from JJ Dolan’s).

Josh/Sawyer and Evi/Kate are doing a close up scene where he grabs her by the collar and pushes her up against a doorway. I was close enough to see them, too far to hear them.

Wow another interesting day of filming for the LOST crew and fans of Sawyer and Miles. Our good friend Ryan and several fans got to witness several scenes be filmed today and there is a good amount of detail to even perhaps confirm that Miles and Sawyer are partners in law enforcement similar to the Dharma Days in 1977.

Here are snippets right from Ryan's report of three scenes that were filmed:

Scene 1:
One scene took place in front of a “La Brea Property Management” office in “Pacific Tower” (false signs hung on Kukui Plaza). Around the corner, two L.A.P.D. cruisers were parked. Sawyer is waiting in a new-ish but nondescript silver four-door Mercury sedan. Sawyer beckons to Miles, who cautiously walks up to the car, then tries to wave Sawyer off and walk away. But Sawyer calls out and stops him, leans over, and opens the passenger door for Miles.

Miles gets in. Sawyer gives Miles one of two cups of coffee, and they talk. Sawyer then gives Miles a file or folder with photographs, and he flips through it. He looks at one photo intensely, and hands it back.

Miles was wearing dark jeans, a blue plaid collared shirt, and a leather jacket. Sawyer was also in jeans, with a dark, rugged jacket over a gray T-shirt. Miles is definitely a cop, but this scene suggests that even Sawyer somehow again ends up involved with law enforcement. If he is working with Miles, it would appear the pair are a team, just like in the Dharma Initiative circa 1977.

Scene 2:
Posters were hung, boxes were strewn, and a hose was used to add an extra layer of wet dinginess. A slight woman wearing a black jacket and with a grey hood pulled over her head repeatedly ran down the alley as a camera crew filmed her from above (perched atop the Thomas building). She knocked down a stack of boxes as she ran, which would then be carefully set back up for another take.

Scene 3:
Car chase scene with woman who is being chased by the police crashes into Miles and Sawyer's Car. A nice video of the stunt is posted in Ryan's report at Hawaii Blog.

Summary of Filming and speculation of scenes from Ryan:
Though these scenes were obviously shot out of sequence, I’d guess it unfolds as follows: Sawyer flags down Miles from his car, and they meet, sipping coffee and looking over photos. Suddenly, a blue car involved in a police chase crashes into them. The driver, a hooded woman, takes off down an alley.

Hey All,
Yesterday we posted several set photos and a report about filming that took place earlier this week in Othersville with Jack, Kate and Faraday being involved in a shootout with Radzinsky and Dharma.

The set video below was sent into us today of the filming. In the video you will be able to hear the gun fight with several rounds being shot and it ends with the explosion. The filming takes place behind the crew tents, so if you focus on that area, then you might catch a very small glimpse of the blue Dharma vehicle speed off!!

Episode 5x04 The Little Prince - BTS Set Video

**MAJOR SPOILERS**
Hey All,
DocArzt just posted a BTS (B-Roll) set video from ABC. It is a behind the scenes video by someone with the crew and looks like something that would be in the bonus section of the DVD.

I have not watched the whole clip, but scanned it quickly and it seems like a couple of scenes at the marina which I believe is set up either as Long Beach or Marina Del Rey here in Los Angeles.

Ben, Sun, Jack, Sayid and Kate are all apart of the filming.

Hey All,
Here is a new set video from EW with LOST stars Daniel Dae Kim and Yunjin Kim talking about previous seasons and what expect in Season 5. I guess this pretty much confirms that Jin is alive...or what we already knew, that he is at least a part of Season 5.

Yunjin Kim: My characters' been isolated, on her own and she's scheming up all kinds of things. It's really interesting. You really get to see a new side of Sun, something that you've never seen before.

"LOST" converted the public pool at Kaneohe District Park into a dark, angry ocean. In a canoe, paddling frantically, were Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, Daniel, Charlotte, and at the head of the crew, Locke. Manufactured rain poured down, and crewmembers made waves and rocked the boat, large overhead lights creating lightning, large orange fans creating wind. Dialogue was hard to make out over the roaring noise of all the equipment, but Sawyer seemed to yell for them to go back, but someone sees or hears something and they begin paddling in earnest towards it, trying to avoid capsizing and shielding their eyes from the flashes.

It’s been a busy few days for the “LOST” crew. This morning, they turned up in the heart of downtown Honolulu, taking over Alakea Street near South King St. — an immensely busy intersection. On the scene were Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly, and their respective cars (the classic Ford Bronco and the stylish silver Volvo).

Jack gets out of his truck and crosses the street to Kate, sitting in her car. He kneels at her window, and they have a long conversation. Suddenly, Jack rises to his feet, and after a few more words, darts around the front of her car and jumps in the passenger seat. The pair then speed away.

Later in the day they moved everything up the street, and up 16 floors, inside 1100 Alakea Plaza. No clue what was filmed behind closed doors, but at least one tenant thinks they saw Michael Emerson.

Hey Losties,
Well here is out first solid set video of Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) filming for Episode 5x03. Last week we posted a report from Ryan that Desmond was looking for a doctor named Solanga (which was confirmed via a previous casting call).

Well today's set video shows Desmond with someone (most likely the doctor) running back to his boat and shouting "Penny we're here...!!".

This confirms some fan theories that Penny was the one in need of the doctor. Of course there is no confirmation, but is it possible Penny gets the sickness or is pregnant...!?

Well here is the video which itself is quite funny because of the folks that took it.

Hey All,
Late Friday night our good friend Ryan was able to get on to the LOST set and watch the Season Premiere beung filmed. That night we posted a couple of set reports from Ryan, which confirmed that Naveen Andrews (Sayid) and Jorge Garcia (Hurley) were a part of the filming at an apartment building. The filming included a stunt with someone scheduled to take a fall.

In the pics below you can see that the crew set up some foam and cardboard boxes to make sure the stuntman had a safe fall.

Ryan was also able to get some footage of the filming and if you look closely you will see Sayid and Hurley getting out of an SUV and walking around the apt. complex.
