Two New Filming Updates for Season 5

Hey All,
Here are the latest filming updates for Season 5 of LOST.

Neither one is too shocking as they are pretty much re-confirming previous spoilers, but the first one is from and interview Lance Reddick had with People about Fringe. Of course he discussed LOST confirming that he filmed a whole episode with Terry O' Quinn. If you have stayed up to date on spoilers you will remember that he is likely talking about the several set photos we posted of Abaddon and Locke on some mission through Locke's past and meeting up with Hurley at one point and then Walt at another point.

The second tidbit seems to support the recent filming reports of the O6 back on the island and this report claims a fan viewed Hurley near a VW on the North Shore and that Sawyer seemed to be a part of the shoot as well.

Well here are the reports enjoy!!

Update 1 About Abaddon:
As for J.J. Abrams's other conspiracy-laced hit, Reddick – who plays Matthew Abbadon, a creepy figure who's supposedly a lawyer – just finished filming an episode of Lost in Hawaii.

Any hints? "I was with Terry O'Quinn throughout the entire episode," says Reddick, referring to the actor who plays enigmatic island leader John Locke.

Asked whether he's a good guy or a villain on the show, Reddick says, "This show is so secretive that the only thing I can say is that, whatever may happen in the show, Abbadon definitely thinks he's a good guy. He's convinced that he's on the side of the angels."

Update 2 About Hurley/Sawyer Scene
More about that Dharma shooting we mentioned yesterday that includes the Oceanic Six and Sawyer. An eagle-eyed reader writes to us:

I live on the North Shore, where they shoot Lost. On a hike today near the ocean I saw a scene with Hurley standing around in dark clothes while a blue and white VW bus came buzzing up and stopped by him. An hour later when I was on my way back, I saw that Sawyer (i'm pretty sure) had joined the scene. There were two or three extra blue and white VWs on standby out of scene and the one I saw up close had the Dharma logo on its front.

Episode 5x06 - Set Pic of Walt and Locke

Hey All,
As promised we have a new image from yesterday's filming with Locke (Terry O' Quinn) meeting Walt(Malcolm David Kelley) at a school.

If you have missed the recent spoilers and filming updates, Locke has been on a little mission of sorts with Abaddon (Lance Reddick). The filming is most likely for LOST's Episode 5x06 which is titled The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham. Locke is back in a wheelchair and if you recall yesterday's report Ben was also a part of the shoot!!

Well here is Waaaaaaaalllllttttt and Locke speaking to one another and keep checking back we might have more updates later...!!

Thanks to Kanaka for the image and Ryan for the heads up!!

NOTE: If you use this image on your site please credit "Kanaka" properly, this is their personal image.

Episode 5x06 - Abaddon, Locke, Ben and Walt!?

**UPDATED** 12AM PST Ryan has posted an update confirming Locke was with Abaddon, still in his wheelchair and that he filmed a scene speaking to Walt. The scene does take place in NY and I am posting a couple of the set pics below.

NOTE: Ben was apart of the scene but Ryan missed him and apparently several fans were along the streets watching so I am sure we will get even more updates!!

Hey All,
Ryan just posted a little update about the filming that is taking place today.

The cast and crew have setup to film more of the Locke/Abaddon storyline and this time it is at an "upscale preschool" that is setup as Fieldcroft School.

Not many details of the scene yet, but the good news is Abaddon, Locke, Ben and possibly even Walt are set to make appearances!!

Ryan says he will be heading to the set and hopefully be able to get us some more details so please keep checking for updates!!

Latest from Ausiello - Abaddon and Widmore

Hey All,
Today, EW's Ausiello posted his weekly spoilers and he had a tiny tidbit for LOST including his feelings that LOST will air on Thursday nights at 10PM.

He also says Abaddon is returning for an episode, which we already know from previous spoilers, but that he will be meeting with Widmore in a hospital.

So based on the recent filming updates do you think this Abaddon/Widmore scene takes place before Abaddon is on his mission with Locke!?

Thanks for stopping by!!

Namaste.

Episode 5x06 - Abaddon and Locke at a Cemetery

POTENTIAL MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW

Hey All,
Once again we get another filming update from our good friend Ryan in Hawaii and it seems to be a continuation of the Lock/Abaddon storyline for perhaps Episode 5x06. This scene has Locke at perhaps Anthony Cooper's gravesite, but the scene ends in a shocking twist!!

Apparently as Locke is sitting in the car and Abaddon is placing his wheelchair in the trunk he is SHOT!?

Wow right!? No word on if he survives or not, but I can only imagine how Locke feels perhaps helpless with out the use of his legs maybe!?

Filming Update - Return to Santa Rosa

Hey All,
Today we got another filming update from our good friend Ryan out in Hawaii. Today's set report is a about a very interesting scene with Hurley, Locke (in a wheelchair) and perhaps Abaddon!!

The key to the scene is, that when Hurley sees Locke at Santa Rosa he is in a wheelchair and he confirms with the nurse that Locke is really there!! We do not know what Locke and Hurley discuss, but Locke eventually points to a car with some one sitting in it and apparently it is Abaddon.

So the scene definitely takes place in the "future" after the Season 4 finale but after Locke leaves the island!! Once Hurely sees the person in the car he freaks out and tells the nurse that he is done and wants to go back in.

Currently the cast and crew would be close to filming Episodes 5/06 or 5x07, but we have no confirmation yet of when this scene take place in the timeline.

What do you all think!?

Thanks to Ryan from Hawaii Blog and make sure you check out the full set report at the following link:

More About Mrs. Hawking and Abaddon Returns

Earlier today EW's Ausiello reported that Ms. Hawking will be returning this season and has a connection with another Lostie not named Desmond. Of course many of you have speculated at the potential options. Well he has now come back to say Hawking's connection is that she is "related" to this Lostie. My guess is Charlotte.

Ausiello also posted some casting info which we already have posted and confirmed that Lance Reddick was filming an episode this past week (most likely Episode 5x06).

Here is his post:

Question: Your Lost spoiler tease in this week's Ausiello TV is driving me nuts. Can you please give us a hint as to the nature of the connection between Fionnula Flanagan's creepy ring-seller and "another major character" who is not Desmond? -- Vanessa

Ausiello: They're r*l*t**.

Question: The lack of Lost scoop is killing me. -- Ahmed

Ausiello: Help has arrived! My Lost mole reports that Lance Reddick (a.k.a. corporate recruiter Matthew Abaddon as well as Fringe's Phillip Broyles) was just spotted in Hawaii shooting what I assume is episode 5.6. Meanwhile, the show is casting the likely recurring role of Hal, a white dude in his 70s who can still fight the establishment and win. Team Darlton is also on the prowl for an actor to play Mike, a thirtysomething scientist who's on the brink of something big. An authentic Czech accent is required. (Of course, when isn't it?)

Season 5 Casting Update - Will Abaddon Return!?

Here is the latest casting tidbit for Season 5 of LOST thanks to Kristin at E! Online who recently interviewed JJ Abrams.

Abrams new show cast Lance Reddick (Abaddon on LOST) on his new show Fringe. so many fans were worried about Reddick's availability for both shows.

Of course as expected, it helps that Abrams knows the LOST producers just a bit. :)

Here are the details, Thanks to LyLy for the heads up:

Meanwhile, for those of you wondering about the casting of Lance Reddick (Lost's Matthew Abbadon) as a series regular on Fringe, J.J. said it's a safe bet he'll reappear on the Island. "When we were casting him, we hesitated because of his Lost character," J.J. admitted. "But then I realized if he goes and does another show, he'll be less likely to do Lost, so let's get him on this one, because I know the producer."
