Episode 4x13 - The Spectacular Kiss is Between....Sawyer and Kate

**UPDATED** 8:30PM PST As suspected tonight's promo hints at a potential kiss between Kate and Sawyer and I would like to say I can confirm that the "spectacular kiss" is indeed between Sawyer and Kate.

I do not have confirmation to reveal this information from my source, but I do NOT want to dangle all of you wonderful fans that have been so patient over the last 24 hours...!! I thought I could continue this wonderful game, but it has been fun. Enjoy the moment Sawyer and Kate fans, just please do me a favor all visit the rest of the site we have posted SEVERAL screencaps of tonight's episode on the front page of the site.

**UPDATED** 6:30PM PST - Poll 4 Added My personal guess was Sawyer and Ghost Claire kissing because she wanted to thank him for saving Aaron, but I was wrong...!! Down to 4 choices and I will remove more couple later.

Hey Losties and Shippers...

Well for weeks now you have allll been wondering who that rumored "spectacular" kiss is between. We have seen several shipper "wars" and heated debates about this kiss and well I am here to help solve your problems.

Thanks to one of my sources, I have been able to confirm who the kiss is between. Plus, judging from the comments and emails I have recieved, I know many of you out there do NOT want to read the full synopsis that will be posted by DarkUFO in the next few days to find out. So as I promised to those that have emailed me, I will reveal it to you all here on my site. However, my source says I can not reveal this information yet. It could be as early as Friday or sometime over the weekend.

I guess it will depend on the voting in the poll and how it goes.

I will then remove one couple from the poll and post a NEW poll over the next day or so, until I will reveal who the kiss will be between.

I can reveal the kiss will NOT take place tonight and will take place in Part 2 of the finale two weeks from tonight. However, please do NOT email me for more information as to why or how the kiss takes place. Also, there is NO set time when I will remove a couple, because I will do it at random times, so keep checking back for updates.

Let this be the final shipper war for Season 4!!!

hannah said...: although i desperately want it to be a Des/Penny kiss (i just love them)but since it was said that it ends up complicating the triangle it aint gonna happen. i think its Sawyer/Kate. although it doesn't fit with the S4 storyline so far since we have been getting Jack/Kate most of the time. and if its anthn like the S3 mini arc where we were constantly shown Sawyer/Kate and that payoff was them having sex in "I DO" then one would expect its gonna be Jack/Kate that share the kiss if the writers were to follow the same formula but i think there payoff might have been what they got in SNBH. however its not exactly a payoff for the on-island storyline since it happens like 2 years or so in the future so i think there might still be a 1% its Jack/Kate. at the same time though we were promised more skate by the end of the season of which we have none yet so they might want to payoff the lack of skate in the last 9 episodes by giving us the so called spectacular kiss which i think has a 99% chance of being skates.; May 15, 2008 6:03 AM

Neither complicates the triangle. It has to be one the three with someone else and since Jacket is OVER to never be revived I'm thinking it has got to be Sawyer with someone else. He is my favorite LOSTie and he alone kept me watching in the really crappy dark days of Season 3. But even as a Skater I recognize that Kate has to be with Jack to figure out what she wants so I embrace the Jate action for now. I just believe that James Ford is who Kate winds up with in the end. Thanks for allll the comments and wonderful emails. Also, thanks for being patient.

Just to give you all a little insight. he source said I could not reveal anything until after tonight's episode. They actual wanted me to wait until the weekend, but I am in the process of a big move personally with my home this weekend.

So I tried to convince them to let me release sooner....so hopefully I will be able to do that for you all.

I know this process might be painful for some but imagine if I did NOT have polls...!? Just said I know but can't tell you until later.

That would be worse right...!?

So I am trying to make it fun.

Also, I know yesterday after Dark, mentioned he had the synopsis to me, my source told me to verify with him to see if they were legit. The information matched.

Since many of you did NOT want to be spoiled by the big synopsis I promised to tell you all here. However, this is the only way.

Thanks for being so patient and I will update in the next hour and probably one more time before the episode airs. :)

As far as the who/how/why that will not be revealed yet.

It is way too soon for Desmond and Penny to be reunited; they've already said it is a romantic kiss so how could it be Claire/Aaron; Claire and Sawyer are not close enough emotionally to kiss spectacularly, plus I have a feeling she will remain with Jacob and Christian for the finale; Sun and Jin kissing would be sweet, but I wouldn't call it spectacular; and Sawyer and Kate kissing would not make sense. Kate agreed (albeit in the future) to spend her life with Jack when she agreed to marry him. And what has just happened on island, with him getting sick and she being so scared he was going to die, why would she kiss Sawyer? She's probably still mad at him because he was so insensitive to her in Eggtown! The only option to me is Jack and Kate. 1. Sawyer/Kate
2. Penny/Des
3. Sun/Jin

They are the only three with the necessary chemistry to produce a SPECTACULAR kiss. Jack and Kate? Give me a break, those two seem so forced whenever they're on screen together and have zero chemistry. Also, they leave the island together and end up together. This kiss will be between two people either reuniting or saying goodbye (this is the only reason I include Sun/Jin because they don't have that much passion but if it comes with Jin dying that could change things). So ultimately I think it comes down to Penny/Des or Kate/Sawyer with my pick being Kate/Sawyer. It is obvious they are meant for each other and will have to say goodbye at some point here (hence Kate doing the favor for him in "Something Nice Back Home").; May 15, 2008 2:17 PM

2. it happens off island
3. it is between a boy and a girl
4. it is between the 2 people with the most chemistry
5. it will be at the axis of the triangle
6. it will involve time standing still (is this literal or figurative? based on the wording I am going with figurative)

The only two people that fulfill at least the first 5 of those things at this time (and perhaps the last after we've seen what goes down on screen) are Sawyer and Kate. And the writers have indicated that Skate will have some romantic moments in the finale

This is all speculation and not based on the stuff in Dark's post today from LostFan108:

I think Sawyer will wind up at The Orchid and may or may not volunteer to use it. If that happens during or after the island jump then Sawyer could jump to where Kate is off island. Any kiss between 2 people that love each other that never thought they would see each other again is gonna be spectacular. And Han Solo (the model for Sawyer) was frozen in Star Wars. So that fits too.

Now, Desmond and Penny would be spectacular as well. I ship them too, but lets face it they are not going to be to complicate the triangle. It just does not fit.; May 15, 2008 3:24 PM

Jack's meltdown in SNBH reveals so much more about his state of mind regarding his life with her because he knows what Sawyer did. He knows that he is always going to be the less epic hero in her eyes. Sawyer sacrifices his rescue by jumping from the helicopter when the fuel is running out to allow for them to get to safety. Thus, the complication. The writers said that this kiss is at the axis of the triangle. Jack knows that Sawyer is the real love in Kate's heart. The triangle is effectively over now because even the coming Jate scenes off island are going to be Kate's past when she returns to the island. And when she returns and reunites with Sawyer? Wow! I don't expect anything other than a full on Skate ending to LOST now. There is no doubt. And even Jack knows that in SNBH. Jate shippers (very maturely) recognize the chemistry between Kate and Sawyer and that she has real feelings for him but ultimately cannot stop loving Jack and have deeper feelings for him (hence "of course I'll marry you") Conversely, Skate shippers are too arrogant and competitive to admit the chemistry between Jack and Kate.. and quite frankly it can be severely annoying.
