More Season 6 Spoilers from LOST TCA Press Tour
CARLTON CUSE
What about Maggie returning as Shannon?
We would love to have Maggie Grace back, but she's very busy—she's got a movie career. We would love to work it out and have her back on the show, and we've talked to her; we're just trying to get that worked out.
When in season six will Harold Perrineau and Cynthia Watros be appearing?
In the latter half of the season.
Do you have plans to bring Charlie back?
Yes, Dominic Monaghan is back for four episodes this season.
Malcolm David Kelley is the big question I have...
Well, Malcolm is very tricky because of the age thing, and it makes it very hard for him. We would love to have him back, but he has aged and looks older than his character. So that's the problem with him, so we're still trying to see if there's a way to work that out.
Will the clips from Comic-Con—the Mr. Cluck's commercial and the Kate crime feature—make sense once we've seen the premiere, or will we have to wait to fit them into the mythology?
I think they will start to make sense after the premiere, but it will take a number of episodes for them to fully make sense.
What about the Helen episode with Katey Sagal?
That comes up in the first third of the season.
Obviously, you can't answer every single question, but some things like the numbers—
No, obviously, if we said nothing about the smoke monster, if we said nothing about the numbers, we would be killed, but we believe that we recognize what the major questions are, and we will be providing some answers to those questions.
Where are you in terms of writing the episodes?
We are in the middle of writing episode 11, prepping episode 12 and we're writing episode 13.
How quickly does Claire come back?
I can't say.
What is the vibe of the final season?
I'd say it's a lot like the vibe of first season—the actors talk a lot about how they’ve reconnected with each other—there's almost a nostalgic quality. I think the first season of any show, the actors get together, they bond, and then there’s a drift over time. But because the show has an end, the actors have a chance to sort of rebond, much like they did in the first season when they screened the episodes every Wednesday at each other. There's a real sense that the connections between these characters is a huge part of the show: Why did these characters cross [paths with] each other?
DAMON LINDELOF
Are you worried the show will jump the shark?
I think that the show has jumped the shark at least a dozen times now, and fortunately for us, the storytellers, but unfortunately for a mainstream audience, yes, absolutely there was a time 23 million people were watching Lost, and that time has passed. Every time this show takes a risk, declares itself more overtly, there are going to be people saying, "I wasn't watching a show about time travel. I don't like that show. I don't want to watch that anymore." But we want to tell the story that we're committed to, and hopefully the audience will stick with us. We can't really comment past that.
How will this finale compare to other recent series finales?
I think that The Shield was a phenomenal series finale, and certainly Newhart is one of my favorites, but my all-time favorite series finale is M*A*S*H. I remember watching that with my folks; I remember everyone on our street was watching it. I remember Hawkeye basically saying, "It was a baby, it wasn't a chicken, it was a baby," and how emotional it was when the chopper finally lifted off and Klinger stayed behind; it stayed with me for my life. I feel like to end a show that people do care about and to give the characters incredibly fulfilling resolutions, M*A*S*H is the pinnacle of something we're trying to achieve. That being said, it wasn't a mystery show, so we've got to answer all our mysteries and give the audience a satisfying character conclusion, so I'd like to say for the record that our degree of difficulty is very high.
JOSH HOLLOWAY
What happens to Sawyer this season?
They've kept me in the dark since day one; I don't know, and I don't want to know. I'm spoiled now with not having to study much, just get it and go.

Episode 6x08 Recon - Latest Filming Updates and Pics
Thanks to Annie for the heads up and to Ryan as usual for his excellent reports.
Spotted on the set were Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Alan Dale (Charles Widmore), under the direction of Jack Bender. I stopped by on the way home from work today, they were filming one last shot down the submarine hatch with Holloway. Then, Holloway and Dale followed the crew as they disembarked the submarine as the sun began to set, moving over to the enclosed exhibit.

Little Snippet on Elizabeth Mitchell
Thanks to Dan for the heads up on this little snippet.
Mitchell, by now a pro at keeping "Lost's" patented twists under wraps, will add only, "I've already shot [scenes] with Sawyer. It's one of those things where it appears to be one thing, and then it turns into something else."

UPDATED: Here are some more details about the set from our good friend Ryan in Hawaii:
The set was none other than Honolulu International Airport, which (as indicated by a “Welcome to Los Angeles” sign) was reprising its role as LAX...
Indeed, expected on the set were Matthew Fox (Jack), Evangeline Lilly (Kate), Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Naveen Andrews (Sayid). But the first hardworking actor sighted was none other than Daniel Roebuck, who played the hapless (and previously detonated) Dr. Leslie Arzt.
Read full report from Ryan here: Hawaii Blog
**UPDATED** Added a second photo sent to us from our good friend DarkUFO. I have posted it below.
Last week we received a tip on a potential location for filming, but our source asked us to keep it quite, but it seems like it is no longer a secret.
DocArzt it seems via Ryan in Hawaii or perhaps being in Hawaii himself has grabbed a pic of some of the cast members chairs in an airport baggage claim.
Yup, the LOST Cast and crew are setting up shop at Honolulu Airport to film some airport scenes and so it does seem like we will get the potential reset or Alternate Timeline story of the Losties arriving LAX!!
As you can see at least Naveen Andrews, Josh Holloway and Evangeline Lilly if not more will be on set.
Here is the pic and we hope to have more details from the set later today and the rest of the week stay tuned!
Whoever took the pic. Thanks!

Here is a really good article from USA Today with LOST star Josh Holloway who reveal some tidbits about the finale (nothing new we already didn't know) but also about his life away from LOST and his wife.
He does confirm that he is on the island in Season 5, but producers promise some "dark" things are planned for Sawyer.
Enjoy and namaste.
Thanks to Stefan@DarkUFO
HOLLYWOOD — Four seasons of helping his friends survive Lost's mysterious island has softened old James "Sawyer" Ford, a former con artist who was recently seen cradling Claire's baby boy.
As the show closes in on Thursday's two-hour season finale (ABC, 9 p.m. ET/PT), emotions run high as Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and company endure a series of game-changing events.
"It's kind of violent," says Holloway, 38. "There's definitely a body count going on. And there's a moment where a big decision has to go down."
Flash-forwards have indicated that Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and baby Aaron (the so-called Oceanic Six) escape the island. The fates of all the others are unknown. Why would Sawyer choose such uncertainty?
"He realizes some sacrifices need to be made," the actor teases on a hike through the dusty trails of L.A.'s Runyon Canyon while dragging on a cigarette. "And I think he's afraid to go back to society. He has gone through an evolution on that island. He has had to face all these demons and he has grown — enough to know he's not OK with himself anymore. Instead of destroying lives, he has saved some lives. He cares about people … and has fallen in love."
Those deep feelings for Kate (Evangeline Lilly) come into play as he is presented with the possibility of losing her forever. "That is a very important part of the finale that I can't talk about," he says.
Like his character, Holloway has experienced his own evolution. Being away from L.A. these past four years has allowed him the opportunity to clear his head of insecurities that, he concedes, "were really eating at my soul." Those insecurities were replaced with feelings of entitlement once he hit it big. But now he has settled into a comfortable mid-way point of peace, self respect and confidence — life lessons he now hopes to pass onto a child.
When Holloway married Yessica Kumala in Hawaii in October 2004 (just as the series was gaining heat), both agreed that their desire to be free to explore the world did not allow for children. Now, having spent a good amount of time traveling, Holloway says, "we have changed our minds … only recently. Basically, nature happened. If you're in a loving relationship with someone, (having) children becomes a part of it. I don't know exactly when or how, but we're very open to either having our own children or adopting."
From the top of the canyon, hikers are awarded a breathtaking view of both the Hollywood sign and the city itself. Along a trail, the actor is recognized by two student filmmakers who ask if he wouldn't mind making a cameo in a short film they are shooting. He can't say yes, of course, and politely explains his agents' role. "I dig you, man," he tells one of them.
Holloway can't help but be reminded of his own years struggling to make it as an actor in L.A. before Lost catapulted him to stardom. When the show ends in 2010, he says, "we'll probably get us a little place here because the biz is here, and I want to stay in it." But he will also spend time at his home in the Colorado Rockies and the Hawaiian beach house he intends to maintain as a rental.
He's already experiencing "a new hunger to really express what's inside of me as an artist."
For Holloway, that means taking chances.
He began his career modeling for high-end fashion houses, "hanging out" with the likes of Gianni Versace and Giorgio Armani. But after landing Lost, he turned his back on that world "to be respected as an actor."
Four years later, he is allowing himself to be photographed as the face of Cool Water cologne, replacing pro surfer Laird Hamilton. Promotional images depicting Holloway cliff-diving in China have appeared in Europe over the past two years, but only now is he making a splash in American markets.
Preparing for a future, he is finally taking seriously the production company he formed primarily for tax reasons. "I have all these ideas for shows — from reality, to writing, to directing," he says, clearly excited. He recently wrote two comedy skits he'd love to perform as a guest host on Saturday Night Live.
Beyond that, he and Yessica are discussing opening a day spa. Perhaps offering a hands-on deep tissue massage from Sawyer himself?
"Of course," Holloway declares with great bravado, followed by a wicked chuckle. "In my Spee-do!"

DarkUFO Confirms Secret Filming - Josh Holloway Spotted in LA!?

The Frozen Donkey Wheel
Ok so details are very sketchy right now, but yesterday the paparazzi (TMZ) spotted LOST star Josh Holloway at LAX.
Now, the kicker is NOT what really happens in the video clip from TMZ, but what our good friend DarkUFO has confirmed about Holloway being in Los Angeles in the first place since the rest of the LOST cast and crew are in Hawaii filming the final episodes of Season 4.
Yup, you guessed it, as the title of this post says, Holloway is in LA for a "secret" filming for LOST!! Now immediately all of the fangirls were going crazy and jumping for joy, because they feel his character Sawyer actually makes it off the island safely. Additionally Dark, confirmed that the scene is NOT a flash back scene...!? WTF right!?
Actual quote from his source is: "This is NOT filming for a Flashback"
Well just because it is not a FB does not mean it is really a Flash forward as well. The source would've told Dark that is is a FF scene.
In my opinion there are too many elements in LOST to be able to really get a grasp of what is going on. The is a possibility of some time traveling going on and do not forget the writers hinting at the use of the Orchid Station which apparently duplicated Bunny #15.
So I would not rush to such a quick judgment just yet. LOST producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, promised us a MAJOR shocker for the end of Season 4 calling the twist the "Frozen Donkey Wheel", so at this point if Holloway is indeed filming a Top Secret scene it could be anything and we will keep you up to speed with any more breaking news.

Episode 4x11 - On-Island Filming Update
Posted by
The ODI
on Friday, April 4, 2008
**UPDATED** Added Ryan's new set report.
Key points of interest is that Lance Reddick (Abbadon) was on set at the same time Terry O' Quinn (Locke) was. What exactly Abbadon is doing in a scene during a Locke Flash back episode?? Well one can only imagine. Is it possible this could be part of a Flash forward as well!?
Other stars seen on set were, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kin, Daniel Dae Kim, Emilie De Ravin, Rebecca Mader, and Jeremy Davies.
Big key here being Claire does NOT die in Episode 4x09 The Shape of Things to Come.
It’s been a busy week for the “LOST” production team, and with five episodes to produce in a little over a month, that’s hardly surprising. We’re deep into the production of Episode 4×11, which is apparently Locke-centric, and “LOST” crews have been spotted all over the island working hard to bring the story to your TV screens.
On Thursday, workers returned to the old Waimano Home in Pearl City, where Locke’s birth (and an apparent visit by Richard Alpert) was filmed the day before. I’m told the folks on set were much less talkative on day two, and the set was apparently a different part of the facility… but both Terry O’Quinn and Lance Reddick (Matthew Abbadon) were seen in the neighborhood.
That same day, visiting German student and fan Marcel again caught “LOST” at work, this time high in the mountains. They were filming an on-island scene along Manoa Falls Trail, complete with mysterious DHARMA door in the grassy hillside. He saw Josh Holloway and Emilie DeRavin in the morning, and when I joined him during my lunch break, we watched Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Rebecca Mader and Jeremy Davies traipse through the jungle, over and over and over again. Making television is hard work!
But that’s not all. Word quickly spread on the coconut wireless thanks to some excited Teach for America workers, a handful of which were thrilled to find “LOST” setting up shop at Leilehua High School in Wahiawa (just one town over from where we live in Mililani). I headed up to the campus after work, and was able to watch them film a couple of scenes.
The young extras were dressed in 1960s fashions (brown gingham dresses and high socks), including several cheerleaders… much to the delight of some Leilehua High School boys that were hanging around. And attention was focused on a young man with brown hair, a collared shirt, and a severe countenance. It was John Locke at sixteen, having an intense conversation with a teacher, a green “Cowin Heights Knights” school crest hanging over his shoulder. Let’s just say our “Man of Faith” has had issues with science for a long time.
“LOST” returned to Wahiawa today, filming more at Leilehua High, and filming another scene elsewhere in the neighborhood. No sign of any actors, but the sight of some classic American cars was hard to miss.

**Original Post**
I just chatted with our good friend Ryan@HawaiiBlog and he confirmed that in addition to the High School Filming yesterday, some On-Island scenes were filmed by the LOST cast and crew.
No real spoilers yet, but he confirmed that several of the Losties were on set or as he put it "saw four stars (and missed two more) in an island scene" and that he will make a post later with more details and set photos. So keep checking back here for an update soon.
I am assuming since this is a Locke FB episode that Team Locke was on set.
Thanks for stopping by and namaste.
