LOST Spoilers - The ODI

Thanks to Andy, who was at the event, for sending us this update which makes a couple of changes/corrections to the original synopsis.

Yeah, they're accurate, but with one pretty critical exception in Christian's synopsis. Unless this poster knows something about the finale, there is no indication that Ben is going to kill Jacob. The episode ends with Locke leading Richard, Ben, Sun, and the Others to go to Jacob (which is, btw, very reminiscent of Jack leading the survivors to the radio tower in TTLG, with similar music, shots, etc.). Earlier in the episode, Locke reassured Sun that Jacob could help reunite them with the 1977 Losties, and in this last scene, Ben questions Locke about this. Locke replies that he knew what he told Sun, but that wasn't why they were going to see Jacob. Locke then declares that they were going because he, and not Ben, as the poster incorrectly stated, was going to kill Jacob. The camera stays on a shocked/bewildered Ben for a couple of moments before cutting to the closing credits.

- There are no flashbacks, only flashes between 1977 and present time on the island.
- Richard is skeptical and impressed with the new Locke(we sort of saw this from the sneak peeks) and his assertiveness. Ben seems to be trying to weasel in between their relationship to cause problems.
- We don't find anything new in regards to Richard, Ben makes a comment, but we already new the answer.
- Locke gives this speech to his "people" since he's their leader now. He talks about how if a people have a leader, they should know who he is, and that they should be able to see him. Then they start the march to the cabin. He only tells Ben that he's actually going to kill him(Jacob).
- Jack is basically trying to do what Faraday set out to do, which is detonate the bomb(which we already knew).
- Some people in DHARMA are evacuating the island, as per Faraday's recommendation to Chang, Sawyer and Juliet are with them.
- We don't really learn anything new about Widmore. He's not much of a leader during the 70s period.

LOCKE TELLS RICHARD THAT A MAN WILL WALK OUT OF THE JUNGLE IN 3 MINUTES AND RICHARD WILL NEED TO PULL A BULLET OUT OF HIS LEG, TELL HIM HE NEEDS TO BRING EVERYBODY BACK TO THE ISLAND, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE "HE HAS TO DIE" RICHARD PLAYS OUT THE PREVIOUSLY SEEN SCENE WITH PAST LOCKE
Ben wants to know how Locke had such perfect timing
The island told him
Locke silences Ben by asserting that Ben has never seen Jacob

Chang wants to stop drilling but Radzinsky isn't into it
Sawyer says he will Radzinsky where Kate is if he and Juliet can get on the evacuation sub
Radzinsky will make a deal in exchange for a map to the others location

Amongst ferns Sayid is shown and had shot the others red shirt, Kate is fine.
Sayid is still thinks his Ben plan worked, is shocked to find he was saved.
Kate thinks Jack is becoming Locke
Kate is presumably left behind as Jack, Sayid, Alpert, and Ellie proceed

BEN IS GOING TO KILL JACOB

Yes, Faraday is the son of Widmore & Eloise. Faraday arrives back to the island by sub. He tries to get Chang to evacuate the island by telling him the truth about the island and Miles. He ventures into the Other's camp to talk to his mother who shoots and kills him prior to talking to him.

Eloise is not portrayed as a villain because she doesn't know (at the time she kills Faraday) he's her son. She learns of his plans through Jack and Kate, and tries to see them through with the help of Richard.
