With filming on Episode 6x15 occurring and days away from filming for the final 3 hours of LOST, you can expect to see the return of Ana-Lucia.
Here is the story from EW:
Michelle Rodriguez is the latest Lost vet to book a return trip to The Island.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Rodriguez will reprise her role as late 815 tailie Ana-Lucia in at least one of the show’s final episodes.
Rodriguez, who was killed off in season 2, returned in season 5 when Ana-Lucia appeared in one of Hurley’s visions.
There’s no word where or exactly when Ana-Lucia will resurface this time around, but, come on, this has “flash-sideways cameo!” written all over it!
Rodriguez joins a growing list of Lost alums guest-starring this season. Said list includes Maggie Grace, Harold Perrineau, Cynthia Watros, and Rebecca Mader.

Here is a little report from the AP about Michelle Rodriguez's recent visit to The View. After being questioned about "rumors" about her return, she hinted at returning for one episode.
Of course, this is not a rumor and we already have a confirmation she is returning for at least one episode.
Here is the report:
MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ has fuelled rumours she is returning to the cast of hit TV show lost.
Rodriguez' character, cop Ana Lucia Cortez, was killed off in the second season of the ABC show.
But internet gossips claim she is set to return in flashback scenes - and during an appearance on TV show The View, Rodriguez refused to rule it out.
The grinning actress told host Whoopi Goldberg, "I might show up for an episode."

Episode 5x03 - Hurley Chased by Ghost Ana-Lucia!?
Hey All,
Some of you know might I was out of town the last few days and noticed my good friend DarkUFO making posts on the site to cover for me. So first of all a BIG thank you to him for covering for me and posting the LOST spoilers for me!!
Well it looks like one of his readers provided him with an interesting scoop today about filming for Episode 5x03. Personally I think the scenes described in the update might actually be for Episode 5x02, because they include Michelle Rodriguez's character Ana-Lucia, who is rumored to appear in Episode 5x02.
According to today's report, it seems like the next dead person that Hurley sees is Ana-Lucia, because he is being chased by AL in a car chase stunt. Hurley's stunt double was apparently wearing hospital garb thus indicating the scene takes place during Hurley's time at Santa Rosa.
Some are speculating there is a possibility it is to a time before the island when Hurley and AL crashed on the island, but I think it makes more sense as a flash forward or 2007/08 timeline after leaving the island.
What do you all think!?
Here is the report:
In Kaimuki, they were filming at the corner of 9th and Waialae Avenue. It is an accident scene where Hurley(stunt double was driving) speeds down the street and knocks over some boxes on the sidewalk before driving off. He's being chased by someone you'll never guess..... Ana-Lucia.
She was in the car the whole time, so I couldn't 100% confirm it was her but I'm pretty sure. I just don't want to speculate and be wrong. She had HUGE glasses on. I'm guessing flashback or hallucination. I should add that the stunt guy was wearing hospital type garb, so that's why I think it is in the present.

Season 5 Casting Update - Ana Lucia Returns!!

Season 5
Hey All,
That is right you read the title correctly!! Now I know Ana-Lucia who was played by Michelle Rodriguez was much hated on the show, but I always liked her character.
There is something about a woman with some authority especially on this show.
However, she had signed ONLY a one year contract and was eventually killed off the show.
Of course the rumors were about the DUI Curse on the show and that is why she left, but either way. Entertainment Weekly is reporting she will be returning after all.
Now the really interesting thing is. Waaaay back in March, we had some rumblings that she would be possibly returning and that her agent was in negotiations for her to return. So it looks like our source was correct.
You can find this initial info over at DarkUFO Rumors section where the initial report of a possible return was leaked.
However, since it has been confirmed lets forget about the past and talk about the present. How will Ana-Lucia be brought back!? Apparently via some sort of flashback or as Ghost AL like Libby. However, I hope it is not a TEASE with her just showing up and it actually provides us with some story movement and perhaps answers? Since Michael is who killed her and Michael apparently dead as well. Who will AL appear to!? Jack!? Maybe with Christian!? Will the show leap back in time to before Flight 815!?
Well anything is possible, but here is EW's report and pleas let us know what you think about Rodriguez returning by voting in the poll.
Well, this should be interesting.
Michelle Rodriguez, arguably one of the more polarizing personalities to have ever gotten Lost, is returning to the show this season, multiple sources confirm to me exclusively.
Details of her comeback are, not surprisingly, shrouded in secrecy, but here's what I can tell you:
• Rodriguez is back for one episode, most likely this season's second. As a result, the risk to Hawaii's roadways is said to be minimal.
• Given that Ana Lucia's bullet-riddled body is probably entering the final stage of rigor mortis, conventional Lost wisdom (if there is such a thing) suggests she'll be appear in someone's flashback or via hallucination. The fact that Cheech Marin is also on the guest list for eppy 2, suggests that it's most likely the latter and the person seeing dead people is Hurley. There's also this theory, put forth by EW's own Doc Jensen: "Maybe Ana Lucia busted L.A.-based Ghost Hustler Miles during her pre-crash LAPD days, and now the freighter folkster is seeing visions of the late Tailie on the Island!"
• Rodriguez' return follows last season's "resurrection" of fellow doomed tailie Cynthia Watros (Libby), who appeared in a vision to Michael. Could Mr. Eko next, thus completing, as Jensen jests, the Busted Tailie Storyline Redemption Tour?"
But let's not get ahead of ourselves -- first we've got to process this MR news, and that means posing the following question to Lost fans: Are you looking forward to seeing Ana Lucia again, even if for just a brief stint? Or would you have preferred her remain dead and buried alongside Paolo and Nikki?
