Episode 6x04 The Substitute - Latest Spoilers

- Episode 4.04 we learn of a connection between The Smoke Monster and MIB
- Fake Locke gets an old friend to join his army

Yup, if you have not been following the spoilers in the last few days, well then you have missed that it was confirmed by our good friend DarkUFO earlier this week that Jacob has a child.

Hey All,
For the last several days, our good friend DarkUFO has been running a hang man game through one of his inside sources.

Some of you might have even participated in the game trying to figure out the mysterious details.

Well now it seems the fans have finally figured it all out and well it is quite interesting. I would say one of the most revealing details is that we will get a funeral for someone with the initials "JL". Since this is the Locke centric episode I would assume we could see his funeral. Although there is another character that we saw get stabbed and do not know his last name. Yes Jacob! Is it possible that we will see his funeral!?

Well here are the other details:

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE FOURTH EPISODE OF THE SEASON ARE A FITTING ISLAND FUNERAL FOR AN OLD FRIEND POSSESSING THE INITIALS JL, A SPECIAL TRAIT CONNECTING SMOKEY AND THE MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR STABBING JAKE, A DOUBLE MEANING IN THE TITLE, A TEMP AGENCY, A FAMILIAR SCHOLAR OF EUROPEAN HISTORY , AND ILANAS IMPORTANCE TO THE ISLAND FINALLY REVEALED. OH, AND MR. LINUS TELLS SOME LIES. BIG SURPRISE NOW.

UPDATE: Here is a little filming update and what took place in the scene. Thanks to Ryan, who was lucky enough to work only a block away from the filming!

Locke, in his wheelchair, comes rolling out of the building with a box of papers and office supplies on his lap. When he reaches his van, he sees the Hummer parked way too close, blocking his door and ramp. He starts to yell and gesture angrily, at one point throwing something. Then, Hurley — wearing jeans and a dress coat — arrives. Locke is still upset, but they talk. Then, Hurley pulls out a checkbook, writes out a check, and hands it to Locke.

Episode 6x04 - Set Pic of Locke in Wheelchair

If you look closely at this new set pic for Episode 6x04 The Substitute you will notice Locke in a wheelchair behind what appears to be Hurley's Hummer.

Hey All,
As many of you already know, several of the LOST characters from the first 5 seasons of LOST are making a return to the show for Season 6.
Today we get two new casting tidbits for the Locke centric Episode 6x04 The Substitute. The first was already confirmed a few weeks ago when it was revealed that Katey Segal who played Helen was expected to return.

Well via Kurt Sutter her husband's Twitter account we now know that she is already in Hawaii and will be there for a week of filming. Thanks to J. White for the heads up.


Also, thanks to TV Overmind for the confirmation that Billy Ray Gallion who plays Randy Nations (aka Locke's boss at the box company) is also in Hawaii and has already filmed a scene with Terry O' Quinn. Apparently the scene is after Flight 815 returns safely and Locke returns to work.

Hey All,
The LOST crew returned to the infamous beach camp set at Police Beach in Hawaii. When I visited the set last month it was a surreal feeling and now seeing the camp setup to look like it did in the Season 5 Finale, it is an awesome feeling to know how soft that beach sand is and how beautiful it truly is out there!!

Below is a little report and some pics of what took place today. This scene is most likely for Episode 6x04 the Locke centric episode and is a continuation of the Losties leaving the 4-Toed statue with a dead Locke.

NOTE: There is a pic of what looks like Michael Emerson (Ben) or his stand-in on a cell phone and I am pretty sure that it is not a part of the scene unless he is calling Annie. ;)

Here you go:

I was planning on going to just to check out the beach set and to my surprise they were filming! The scene they were filming was of Sun, Frank, and Ilana and Ben walking on the beach. But Ilana and Ben were carrying back Locke's body on the stick wrap thing. (Don't know how to describe it) The only pictures I got were of all of their stand-ins doing the scene and I was only there for an hour.

Also they built up the Losties weathered camp seen in the finale. I think its the same, but I didn't watch the finale and check. They all were in the same clothes so I'm guessing this is a continuation of the nice long walk they took to the four-toed statue. They were probably walking over to it and were walking right in front of Eko's church and next to that is the camp site.

According to Ausiello at EW, LOST Episode 6x04 is title The Substitute and will be Locke Centric.
