Here is a very short and not very spoilerly snippet from Damon on the Finale and what type of fans will enjoy it. It's posted in spoilers as it gives a clue about the direction the finale will take and as it's about the Finale, as per out Finale policy, it's behind an Are You Sure button.

He references the triangle fans, so do NOT read unless you want to know.
